alot of bluffing, alot of milking the bluff... where you put out feel bets, and then go all in on the turn or river, no matter what you hold because you know you're opponent cannot call you w/ what they hold... aggresiveness is the key.

I sort of agree...... the big thing for me is to see when the other guy has you beaten. If he has two pair, he isn't going to back down. If you reach the river and he's raised twice then run for the hills.... save your money for later.

When you act second, stealing is the main option. In first place, you make semi-steals (preferably the same bet each time.... big enough to disuade but small enough to not hurt too much) don't jepordise large numbers of chips when you know you're more than 60:40 underdog...... if you've got a K3 and he calls you can be pretty certain you're a fairly big dog (A's or K's with crap generally).

The main thing is to go by instinct....... make sure it's at your tempo and if you lose..... hell second has a prize. overall you want to be aiming to win 65% of heads up AT BEST..... even seasoned pro's struggle to beat decent players heads up.... don't worry about the swings... it's more like boxing than cards at times [Big Grin]

Hope this helps... diss me all you will but it works for me

I think the main thing is knowing your opponent. Is he the type who slowplays, does he show strength when he has a weak hand and vice-versa, is he a passive player or will he play back. Or is he just a solid agressive player. Knowing your opponent will save u alot of lost chips heads up. Also agressiveness, if your agressive youll always have the best of it. If your opponent cant put u on a hand you own him.
