200 NL (This happened to me last night)
I was the button and get dealt KK. I was playing very tight at this table and was making standard raises of $6, but raised $8 on this hand. 4 limpers folded except for the big blind. (I had $400 and he had $200)
Flop: Two (Duece) Hearts Three (trey) Hearts Five Spade
He checks, I bet the pot, which was $20. He calls
Turn: Two (Duece) Hearts Three (trey) HeartsFive Spade Ten Clubs
He checks again, I bet the pot, $50. He calls again.
River: Two (Duece) Hearts Three (trey) Hearts Five Spade Ten Clubs Six Clubs
He immediately goes all in for the rest of his money. Would anyone fold Kings here in this situation? I know you would need to see how he was playing at the table, but lets assume its the first time your playing with him and this is the first hand dealt to you. |

Well I can only assume he had a 4 maybe, or perhaps made 2 pair? I can't see much else being a possibility, so I would actually probably fold in this situation.
Unless you are prepared to call him and see if he's bluffing his nuts off, I wouldn't take the chance personally. That's a bizarre bet on the river. |

If he had a 4 then that would explain it, because he waited till the river to make the big raise.
Either that, or a big bluff - he seemed to be reeling you in throughout the hand before finally going for the kill at the end, so it was either a very well manipulated bluff, or he was waiting on that straight, which came hence all-in. |
