When playing poker do any of you here think 2 and 3 rounds ahead. Like if I'm heads up with a flush draw, and I raise on the flop, what is my move on the turn and river respectively if he bets, he checks, if I bet and get check raised, etc...
I have just started doing this. I only usually think 1 round ahead (ex. calling on the flop in EP after checking to steal on the turn) but thinking 2 rounds ahead prevents you from getting in trouble.

Not really, I worry about not being in the game in 2 or 3 rounds, so although I'll be looking at a game strategy, I won't be considering individual hands at any stage in the game.
Just personal preference, I like to focus on the hands in play currently. |

I'll consider my situation in 2 or 3 rounds time, though not much in the way of chips as I don't want to put pressure hence tilt on myself worrying about hitting "targets".
I'll play with my eye on the next round or two, but since I won't decide until I see what I've been dealt there isn't too much point. I may have gone all-in and lost by then, after all. |
