I find this to be my downfall in UTG raised multiway pots and vow to try to never do this again. What's the point? UTG makes it 15 pre-flop, I bring it up to 45 with my AK suited.

Flop comes J23. He moves all in. I fold he shows AJ offsuit.

Anyone feel the same way about reraising with this overrated hand?

I feel the same way about AK great after the flop hits but play it cheap unless it's a cash game and people are betting huge stacks with any ace they get then you might be able to get paid off weith their weak ace. Let me qualify this I'm playing 10 max buy in so I'm talking real small amounts here.

It's not great unless you've got something on the flop. Don't reraise unless you see Kings or Aces on the flop, but if not then it's time to fold.

It's raised a lot, and it's rated alongside AA or KK, which I don't always agree with. Yes, two high cards especially in suit are worth a bit, but if nothing comes down on the flop you have nothing. At least with AA you have a high pair.

I don't really rate the hand at all - it's worth cheaply limping in, you've got the high cards in hand BUT I wouldn't really be looking to raise unless I'd made two pair on the flop or similar.

It's harsh to drop them when you see them ranked as a top starting hand, but without anything else on the board it's worth nothing.
